Abstract

La invención se refiere a un ánodo (1) para el proceso de electroextracción en una celda electrolítica (4) que tiene paredes de celda (2) y una parte inferior de celda (3) para soportar un electrolito y un medio de alimentación de electrolito (6), cuyo ánodo comprende una barra de suspensión (7) para soportar el ánodo, una varilla conductora (8) para distribuir la corriente al ánodo, un elemento de ánodo (9) que tiene una estructura por lo menos parcialmente conductora, cuyo elemento de ánodo permite la penetración del electrolito y está parcialmente cubierto por un recubrimiento electrocatalítico, cuando está en conexión con el ánodo (1) se dispone un elemento no conductor (10, 12, 14), el cual está restringido a la estructura conductora de un elemento de ánodo (9) por lo menos desde su lado y cuyo elemento no conductor está dispuesto a una distancia A desde el nivel de superficie del electrolito (11), cuando el elemento no conductor proporciona un medio para unir el ánodo con la celda (4). La invención también se refiere a un método para operar una celda electrolítica que se va a usar en la electroextracción de metales.
