Abstract

Un sistema inalámbrico en una estación base (1) para calcular señales de enlace ascendente transmitidas desde una pluralidad de terminales distantes utilizando un canal de enlace ascendente común, comprendiendo dicho sistema: un medio de recepción (15, 19) que incluye una pluralidad de elementos de antena (19) y receptores (15) para producir medidas de combinaciones de dichas señales de enlace ascendente procedentes de dicha pluralidad de terminales distantes utilizando dicho canal de enlace ascendente común; un medio de procesamiento espacio-temporal de recepción (13) para determinar y memorizar signaturas espaciotemporales de recepción para dicha pluralidad de terminales distantes utilizando dichas medidas y para determinar y memorizar pesos de demultiplexación espacio-temporal para cada elemento de antena (19) con el fin de permitir la separación que las señales de enlace ascendente con las combinaciones de señales de enlace ascendente medidas por los elementos de antena (19), comprendiendo los pesos de demultiplexación espacio-temporal para cada elemento de antena (19) una pluralidad L de pesos correspondientes a la longitud de una ventana deslizante; y un medio de demultiplexación espacio-temporal (20) que comprende una pluralidad de filtros temporales de recepción (22) y un sumador (21), estando cada filtro temporal de recepción (22) diseñado para recibir una señal desde un elemento de antena correspondiente (19) y un conjugado complejo de los pesos de demultiplexación espacio-temporal para el elemento de antena respectivo (19), estando el sumador (21) diseñado para sumar la salida de los filtros temporales de recepción (22) con el fin de generar señales de enlace ascendente separadas, comprendiendo cada filtro temporal de recepción (22) una serie de retardos de muestreo (27) correspondientes a la longitud L de la ventana deslizante, estando los multiplicadores (26) diseñados para multiplicar versiones retardadas en el tiempo de la señal recibida para un elemento de antena (19) mediante pesos de demultiplexación espaciotemporal respectivos y un sumador (28) diseñado para sumar los resultados de las multiplicaciones con el fin de generar la salida del filtro temporal de recepción (22).
