Abstract
Un endoscopio (10) que comprende: (a) un cuerpo flexible alargado (12) que tiene una porción de punta distal (14); (b) al menos una fuente de luz (24a, 24b, 24c) para iluminar la escena visualizada desde dicha porción de punta distal; (c) un medio de dispersión óptica (30) superpuesto distalmente sobre dicha fuente de luz de manera que dicho medio de dispersión óptica sea efectivo para dispersar la iluminación de dicha fuente de luz, de modo que ilumine la escena visualizada desde dicha porción de punta distal, sin impedir que la luz reflejada desde la escena alcance dicho conjunto de lentes; (d) un conjunto de formación de imágenes (16) asociado con dicha porción de punta distal, incluyendo dicho conjunto de formación de imágenes: (i) un chip sensor de imágenes (18) que incluye una matriz de dos dimensiones (20) de píxeles sensibles a la luz; y (ii) un conjunto de lentes (22) desplegado para enfocar la luz de un campo de visión sobre dicho chip sensor de imágenes para generar una imagen de una escena visualizada desde dicha porción de punta distal, en el que dicho conjunto de lentes está fijado directamente a dicho chip sensor de imágenes mediante una cantidad de adhesivo transparente, caracterizado por que; dicho conjunto de lentes se extiende distalmente más allá de dicha al menos una fuente de luz, y en el que dicho medio de dispersión óptica rodea dicho conjunto de lentes sin superponerse sobre dicho conjunto de lentes.
