Abstract

Alternador de variación de velocidad, especialmente par los equipos eléctricos de los vehículos automóviles,caracterizado por el hecho de estar montado al extremo del árbol y constar esencialmente de un cubo fijo al mismo, llevando dicho cubo dos superficies móviles de poleas de diámetro variable, entre las cuales está comprendida una correa trapezoidal de transmisión y se asegura el mando automático de aproximación o separación de las superficies de la polea gracias a al fuerza centrífuga de bolas arrastradas en la rotación de la polea y que pueden ocupar,según un equilibrio momentáneo, diversas posiciones radiales en relación al eje común del alternador y del variador.
