Abstract
Un material de matriz para el almacenamiento intermedio y/o definitivo seguro de residuos radiactivos, adecuado para el encapsulamiento de residuos radiactivos, caracterizado por que el material de matriz comprende grafito y al menos un aglutinante inorgánico seleccionado de vidrios, aluminosilicatos, silicatos y boratos, en donde el material de matriz comprende de 60% en peso a 90% en peso de grafito y de 10% en peso a 40% en peso de aglutinante inorgánico y en donde la densidad del material de matriz alcanza al menos 97% del valor de la densidad teórica.
