Abstract

Un elemento fusible varistor, que comprende un varistor cilíndrico (1), cuya resistencia depende de la tensión, así como un fusible cilíndrico (2), que se conectan eléctricamente entre sí en serie, en el que el mencionado varistor (1) consta de un primer y un segundo electrodo conductor de la electricidad (11, 12), que están separados uno de otro por medio de un cuerpo (10) del varistor que consta de un material que tiene una resistencia que depende de la tensión eléctrica, y en el que el mencionado fusible (2) consta de un cuerpo eléctricamente aislante (20), el mencionado cuerpo (20) aislante está equipado con el primer y segundo medios de contacto (21, 22) que constan de un material eléctricamente conductor y se ubican en las partes extremas (23, 24) de los mismos y se conectan eléctricamente entre sí por medio de un elemento (25) que se funde, que consta de material eléctricamente conductor y está equipado con una parte débil (25) que tiene una sección transversal predeterminada que se ajusta al propósito de fundir e interrumpir el contacto entre los mencionados medios de contacto (21, 22) cuando el fusible (2) se sobrecarga eléctricamente, en el que el fusible (2) comprende el mencionado cuerpo aislante (20), que es un cuerpo tubular redondo, y el varistor (1) que comprende el mencionado cuerpo (10) del varistor, que también es un cuerpo tubular redondo, se insertan uno dentro del otro de tal manera que el varistor (1) se coloca dentro de un pasaje longitudinal en el cuerpo aislante (20) del fusible (2), cuyo pasaje está lleno con material (26) de extinción del arco, y los medios de contacto eléctricamente conductores (21, 22) están en las partes extremas (23, 24) del mencionado cuerpo aislante (20), en el que el primer electrodo (11) en la superficie externa (14) del varistor (1) se interconecta eléctricamente con el primer medio de contacto (21) del fusible, mientras que el segundo medio de contacto (22) del mismo es a través del elemento (25) que se funde, interconectado eléctricamente con el segundo electrodo (12) del varistor (1), que está en la superficie interna (13) del cuerpo de varistor (10).
