Abstract
Un método para establecer un perfil de marcadores compuesto para una muestra procedente de un individuo que se sospecha que tiene un proceso neoplásico, comprendiendo el método las etapas de: (a) hacer reaccionar la muestra biológica con una serie de moléculas de unión, en donde la serie de moléculas de unión contiene dos o más grupos de moléculas de unión específicas para marcadores asociados a una población celular única, en donde los niveles de marcadores y las combinaciones de marcadores identifican poblaciones celulares normales y neoplásicas internas a la muestra; (b) identificar la presencia de poblaciones celulares normales y neoplásicas internas a la muestra mediante la detección de los niveles de marcadores y las combinaciones de marcadores que identifican las poblaciones celulares normales y neoplásicas internas a la muestra, y (c) correlacionar los niveles de marcadores de cada una de las poblaciones celulares normales y neoplásicas con la presencia de una proteína diana para establecer un perfil de marcadores compuesto para una muestra procedente de un individuo que se sospecha que tiene un proceso neoplásico, en donde la proteína diana es una molécula de señalización.
