Abstract

Procedimiento para la eliminación de compuestos de azufre tiofénicos contaminantes, a partir de materias primas de hidrocarburos, comprendiendo dicho procedimiento el poner en contacto la materia prima en presencia de hidrógeno con un adsorbente de níquel sulfurado, adsorbente cuya constante de velocidad para la actividad de hidrogenación de tetralina a 150°C es menor que 0,0 1 l/s·g catalizador, en el que en dicho adsorbente parte del níquel está presente en el forma metálica y en el que a. el adsorbente de níquel contiene además un óxido de un metal que forma sulfuros estables en las condiciones aplicadas en el procedimiento para la eliminación de compuestos de azufre contaminantes de materias primas de hidrocarburos.
