Disposición perfeccionada aplicable a estuches para flexómetros, concretamente flexómetros equipados con un mecanismo de freno de la cinta métrica, caracterizada por la previsión, en la pared lateral del estuche, de un taco o pastilla de material dotado de un cierto grado de elasticidad, que queda situado en una posición tal que la cinta métrica es aplicada y aprisionada contra el mismo por el órgano activo del mecanismo de freno, determinando su deformación elástica, absorbiendo las imprecisiones de fabricación o montaje que puedan existir, y asegurando en todo caso un bloqueo perfectamente efectivo de dicha cinta.
