Abstract

Aparato para accionar válvulas de compuerta u otro mecanismo de válvula intercalado en una tubería, por la cual fluye un líquido, aparato que comprende medios para producir en la tubería una diferencia de presiones dependiente del caudal o gasto en la tubería, un émbolo montado en un cilindro vertical de modo que resbala libremente hacia abajo por la acción de la gravedad, medios para oponerse a este movimiento del émbolo mediante la diferencia de presiones producida en la tubería, y una conexión mecánica entre el vástago del émbolo y el mecanismo de válvula, merced a la cual el paso disponible para el caudal líquido aumenta al disminuir la diferencia de presiones y viceversa.
