Abstract
Un método para proporcionar protección a un cable eléctrico superconductor localizado en una red de suministro eléctrico, comprendiendo el método: detectar una corriente de fallo en el cable eléctrico superconductor; determinar la energía total acumulada disipada en el cable eléctrico superconductor de la corriente de fallo y al menos una corriente de fallo anterior durante un periodo de tiempo predeterminado; y determinar si debe desconectarse el cable eléctrico superconductor de la red de suministro eléctrico basándose en dicha energía total acumulada disipada.
