Abstract

Dispositivo fabricado a base de un material compuesto para controlar la anchura de la hendidura entre el rotor y la carcasa de una turbomáquina, que transporta un fluido en forma de líquido y/o vapor, en particular una bomba centrífuga, en la que un primer componente material (2) del material compuesto se ha diseñado como un componente de estabilización de la forma y se caracteriza por que un segundo componente material del material compuesto se ha configurado como un material de hinchamiento, de manera que éste provoca un cambio de volumen por la acción de la humedad y donde al menos una cara de la pared del dispositivo que limita con la hendidura puede verse alterada espacialmente debido al material de hinchamiento (5).
