Abstract
Un método para asignar un conjunto de tonos reservados (301) para reducir una Relación de Potencias Pico a Promedio, PAPR, en un aparato de transmisión de un sistema de comunicación de Multiplexación por División de Frecuencia Ortogonal, OFDM, el método comprende: recibir una o más señales OFDM que tienen datos en tonos de datos y pilotos en tonos piloto; asignar tonos reservados a cada símbolo OFDM utilizando información de posición de tonos reservados de un conjunto de tonos reservados SI que corresponde a cada símbolo OFDM; en donde tal información de posición está basada en valores de desplazamiento que están basados en un intervalo de separación subportador x y un número de símbolos espaciados y de un patrón piloto disperso e índices de símbolo OFDM I; de tal manera que las posiciones de tono reservado del conjunto de tonos reservados SI para cada uno de dichos símbolos OFDM están basadas en dichos valores de desplazamiento en relación con cada uno de un conjunto de subportadores ik de un conjunto de tonos reservados S0 predeterminado, de tal manera que las posiciones de tono reservado están libres de colisión con posiciones de tono de datos y posiciones de tono piloto de acuerdo con el tamaño de OFDM y las posiciones de tono piloto.
