Abstract

El medidor del arco del pie (MAP) es una herramienta diagnóstica diseñada de forma ergonómica que permite valorar el estado normal y patológico del pie. Este instrumento permite cuantificar los cambios en la morfología del pie a lo largo de la vida y adoptar medidas concretas para evitar el uso de calzado inadecuado, aparición de dolor, limitación de la movilidad al caminar, cambios en la distribución de las presiones en los pies relacionadas con la pérdida equilibrio, en consecuencia perjudicar a la salud, la independencia y el bienestar de las personas. El ámbito de aplicación de la invención tendrá como destinatario la industria médica y la del calzado, y más concretamente los sectores podológico, fisioterápico, protésico, médico, sanitario, debido a la carencia de instrumental específico para determinar con precisión la altura del arco longitudinal externo e interno de los pies que podría mejorar el estudio de los pies.The foot arch meter (MAP) is an ergonomically designed diagnostic tool that allows you to assess the normal and pathological condition of the foot. The scope of the invention will be the medical and footwear industry, and more specifically the podiatry, physiotherapy, prosthetic, medical, and sanitary sectors, due to the lack of specific instruments to accurately determine the height of the external longitudinal arch and internal feet that could improve the study of the feet.

OBJETO DE LA INVENCIONOBJECT OF THE INVENTION

El instrumento MAP es una herramienta disenada de forma ergonomica para medir la longitud total del pie, desde el talon hasta el dedo mas largo del pie. Ademas permite determinar y cuantificar las alturas del arco longitudinal intemo y extemo. La utilidad de este instrumento es que permite valorar el estado normal y tambien para diagnosticar las alteraciones o deformidades que se presentan en esta estructura anatomica.The MAP instrument is an ergonomically designed tool to measure the total foot length, from the heel to the longest toe. It also allows to determine and quantify the heights of the internal and external longitudinal arc. The usefulness of this instrument is that it allows to assess the normal state and also to diagnose the alterations or deformities that occur in this anatomical structure.

DESCRIPCION DE LA INVENCIONDESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

El medidor del arco del pie es una herramienta que consta de un diseno ergonomico que presenta una base regulable (vease Fig. 1) con la peculiaridad de tener un espacio para colocar el pie y ajustarlo a la dimension morfologica de cualquier pie o calzado lo que facilita la medicion de la longitud y de esa manera poder cuantificarlo en esa dimension.The arch of the foot arch is a tool that consists of an ergonomic design that has an adjustable base (see Fig. 1) with the peculiarity of having a space to place the foot and adjust it to the morphological dimension of any foot or footwear which it facilitates the measurement of the length and in this way to be able to quantify it in that dimension.

Estas especiales caracteristicas permiten determinar la medicion del pie en dos dimensiones: por una parte medir la longitud del pie y por otra parte determinar de forma fiable la altura del arco del pie. El interes de este instrumento para los investigadores y los clinicos radica en que cuantifica y determina la altura del arco y permite estudiar, detectar, evaluar y tratar las deformidades del pie a nivel general y del arco longitudinal intemo y extemo de manera especial.The base has two systems one that is articulated with at the end where the foot length (2) is measured and another system equipped with an adjustable guide that measures the height of the foot arches (3).
