Folding chair for children, being of the type; of which are constituted by two anterior tubular elements articulated in scissors with another pair of rear tubular elements, the first of which functions as backrest frame and the respective front wheels being mounted at their lower ends, while the tubular elements the rear wheels form part of the frame of the seat and the rear wheels are mounted on their lower ends, essentially characterized in that the outer tubular elements constitute the lateral branches of a "U" profile which in an area closer to its upper end than to its lower end, they undergo a slight kinking that determines a convergence of the upper sections that such lateral branches towards the own transversal and superior branch in functions of handlebar or handle of the own chair; with the particularity that both the anterior and posterior tubular elements are separated separately from each other in areas near their lower ends, in such a way that said joining means determine the folding system of the chair; having provided that the unión of the above tubular elements is constituted by a pair of transverse strips with one end articulated to the respective tubular element and the other two ends, which remain in the central area of separation between the two above mentioned tubular elements, they are also articulated by means of a pin whereas the joining of the rear tubular elements is carried out by means of two pairs of plates each of which pairs are arranged separately and parallel to each other, they are articulated at one of their ends to the respective rear tubular insert, their other ends remaining articulated with the corresponding ends of the other pair of plates through a pin in which a helical expansion spring is provided and characterized furthermore because the previous tubular elements are related inferiorly to the posterior tubular elements by means of a pair of elements likewise tubular articulated centrally to each other in the form of and at their ends to the four mentioned tubular elements.
