Abstract
Procedimiento para la preparación de 2,2-difluoroetanol que comprende las siguientes etapas: etapa (i): reacción de 1-cloro-2,2-difluoroetano con una sal de metal alcalino del ácido fórmico o del ácido acético en un disolvente adecuado hasta dar el correspondiente formiato de 2,2-difluoroetilo o acetato de 2,2- difluoroetilo, caracterizado porque el 1-cloro-2,2-difluoroetano se añade lentamente a una mezcla calentada a la temperatura de reacción deseada de disolvente y sal de metal alcalino del ácido fórmico o del ácido acético; etapa (ii): transesterificación del formiato de 2,2-difluoroetilo o acetato de 2,2-difluoroetilo de la etapa (i) en presencia de un alcohol y dado el caso de una base.
