Abstract

Una composición de adhesivo termofusible, que comprende una combinación de los siguientes componentes: (a) 5 al 40 por ciento en peso de un copolímero de bloque de estireno-butadieno-estireno sustancialmente lineal que tiene un contenido de estireno del 40 % en peso, un contenido del butadieno del 60 % en peso y esencialmente cero por ciento de dibloque; (b) 2 al 30 por ciento en peso de una resina de bloque terminal sustancialmente aromática; (c) 20 al 70 por ciento en peso de una resina de adhesividad de bloque central; (d) 0 al 25 por ciento en peso de un copolímero de bloque no funcionalizado compatible; (e) 0 al 30 por ciento en peso de un plastificante; (f) 0 al 4 por ciento en peso de un estabilizador; y opcionalmente: uno o más aditivos seleccionados de colorantes, cargas y cera; en la que: - el copolímero de bloque de estireno-butadieno-estireno tiene una viscosidad en disolución en tolueno al 25 por ciento en peso de 0,62 Pas (620 cP) y un flujo del fundido (medido según ASTM 1238) de 7,5 gramos por 10 minutos a 190 ºC usando un peso de 5 kg; - la resina de adhesividad de bloque central está presente en una cantidad superior al copolímero de bloque de estireno-butadieno-estireno; - la resina de bloque terminal sustancialmente aromática tiene un punto de reblandecimiento de anillo y bola en el intervalo de 120 ºC a 140 ºC; - los componentes (a) a (f), y dichos aditivos opcionales, si están presentes, ascienden juntos al 100 % en peso de la composición; y - el adhesivo tiene una viscosidad inferior a 10 Pas a 163 ºC (100000 cP a 325 ºF).
