Abstract

Transmisión automática continuamente variable, que mediante la acumulación y transformación de energías potencial y cinética, modifica su relación de transmisión. La transmisión, que está constituida, funcionalmente, en torno a un dispositivo acumulador de energía potencial elástica con salida controlada, dispone de un sistema de entrada adecuado para repartir la energía que se absorbe, y por otra parte tiene un sistema de salida adecuado para entregar la energía potencial que se ha absorbido y convertirla en energía cinética. El acumulador de energía potencial elástica, está constituido en torno a un resorte elástico en espiral, cuya entrada está dispuesta para permitir únicamente la entrada de energía y su salida para tener control sobre las entregas energéticas.
