Cable eléctrico, en particular cable de alto voltaje, en particular para su uso en un automóvil, en particular en un vehículo híbrido o eléctrico, con - un conductor interior (16a), - un aislamiento primario (16b) que rodea el conductor interior (16a), - un apantallamiento eléctrico (18) que rodea el aislamiento primario (16b), - un aislamiento secundario (16c) que rodea el apantallamiento (18), - en el que en al menos un extremo del cable (16) está eliminado el aislamiento secundario (16c), 10 de modo que el apantallamiento (18) está desnudo, - un casquillo (2) está deslizado sobre el apantallamiento (18) desnudo y - una parte del apantallamiento (18), que sobresale del casquillo (2) en la dirección del extremo (22) del cable (16), está redoblada sobre el casquillo (2), caracterizado por que - el casquillo (2) presenta un desnivel (4) en forma de escalón, de modo que el casquillo (2) tiene un primer diámetro (6a) en un primer lado (6) y un segundo diámetro (8a) más pequeño que el primer diámetro (6a) en un segundo lado (8) dirigido al extremo (22) del cable (16), - la parte del apantallamiento (18) colocada sobre el casquillo (2) está unida de forma intermetálica al casquillo (2).
