Abstract

Un dispositivo aplicador de braquiterapia para su inserción en una cavidad del cuerpo, que comprende: - un aplicador (3) formado para su inserción en la cavidad del cuerpo; el aplicador que comprende las partes que pueden conectarse en la forma de segmentos con forma parcialmente tubulares (33, 34); al menos una de dichas partes que pueden conectarse que tiene una forma que sigue la superficie de pared formada para seguir la cavidad del cuerpo, y en donde una superficie de pared interior (90) de la una parte que puede conectarse tiene una estructura de ranura abierta multicanal (36) alejada de la forma que sigue la superficie de pared (9), a fin de guiar una pluralidad de catéteres a lo largo de las ranuras en la estructura de ranura a lo largo de la superficie de pared interior de la una parte que puede conectarse.
