Abstract
Base para cama, del tipo que comprende por lo menos un par de plataformas de material termoplástico acopladas lateralmente adyacentes, que tienen superficies horizontales para sostener un cuerpo humano postrado, y por lo menos un acoplamiento que mantiene unidas un par de plataformas lateralmente adyacentes de tal modo que un canto de una plataforma de un par quede opuesto a un canto de la otra plataforma del par, caracterizada porque: el acoplamiento comprende superficies separadas alzadas opuestas con restricción a la separación gracias a una ó más interconexiones, y porque cada plataforma de un par lateralmente adyacente está provista de: (i) una superficie colgante exterior que se extiende hacia abajo y que se opone a una superficie colgante exterior de la otra plataforma del par; y (11) una superficie colgante interior que se extiende hacia abajo y penetra entre las superficies alzadas del acoplamiento, y se opone a una superficie alzada; por lo que la reacción entre las superficies colgantes exteriores opuestas y la reacción entre la superficie colgante interior y la superficie alzada se opone a una rotación de la plataforma de un par con relación a la otra plataforma alrededor de un eje geométrico paralelo a sus cantos opuestos.
