Abstract
Perfeccionamientos en la fabricación de termómetros clínicos, caracterizados por el hecho de acortar el proceso actual de aclimatación del termómetro, que dura varios meses,mediante un tratamiento especial de envejecimiento rápido que se aplica a todos los termómetros por medios naturales o artificiales, en forma que, los últimos puedan ser lanzados inmediatamente al mercado, a cuyo fin se somete el termómetro a un tratamiento de calor con temperatura alrededor de 560ºC durante tres horas por lo menos, el cuales seguido de un enfriamiento hasta 260ºC a una velocidad que no exceda de 37,8ºC por hora, siendo estas temperaturas susceptibles de variación según la calidad del vidrio.
