Abstract
Procedimiento para operar un buque (1), con - al menos un motor eléctrico (2) como máquina principal para accionar el buque (1), donde el motor eléctrico (2) acciona un sistema de ejes (3) que se encuentra acoplado a un propulsor del buque (4), - al menos un motor de combustión (5) que puede acoplarse al sistema de ejes (3), en particular una turbina de gas o uno o varios motores diesel, como accionamiento adicional para alcanzar la velocidad máxima del buque (1), - una red de a bordo eléctrica (10), a través de la cual se suministra energía eléctrica a por lo menos un motor eléctrico (2) y a otros consumidores eléctricos (18) del buque (1), y - generadores de corriente (9) para generar energía eléctrica para la red de a bordo (10), caracterizado porque al menos un motor eléctrico (2) puede ser operado también como generador, debido a lo cual entre la red de a bordo (10) y el sistema de ejes (3) puede producirse un flujo de energía (14) que puede modificarse en cuanto a su dirección, y porque a través del control de la dirección y la magnitud de ese flujo de energía (14) se proporciona una potencia mínima necesaria para la red de a bordo (10), y al mismo tiempo se proporciona también la potencia de accionamiento mínima requerida en situaciones particulares para la propulsión del buque, para el propulsor del buque (4).
