Abstract

Procedimiento de protección de la superficie interna de las paredes metálicas de cámaras de pirolisis en los hornos de tratamiento térmico de hidrocarburos, caracterizado por realizarse una inyección contínua periférica de vapor, a partir del borde superior de la pared de la cámara de pirolisis, con objeto de formar primero una pantalla contínua y homogénea de vapor de agua a lo largo de esta superficie, y por condensarse luego este vapor de agua a consecuencia del efecto de refrigeración ejercido por una circulación de fluido refrigerante en el exterior de la pared, con formación de una pantalla de agua que prolonga la pantalla de vapor.
