Abstract
Tornillo diferencial, especialmente caracterizado porque su espiga presenta dos zonas roscadas con paso diferente y mismo sentido.La parte próxima a la cabeza del tornillo lleva un paso determinado y la parte más alejada un paso diferente al citado anteriormente, de tal forma que una vez hecho el apriete previo de las piezas que amarra el tornillo, utilizando para ello una o ambas tuercas situadas sobre las partes roscadas, dejando un hueco prudencial entre la cabeza del tornillo y la tuerca próxima a ella, se actúa sobre la cabeza del tornillo, consiguiéndose una multiplicación del apriete con respecto a un tornillo convencional, proporcional a la relación entre el paso de dicho tornillo y la diferencia de pasos entre las dos roscas de este tornillo diferencial.
