Abstract

Una tuerca de seguridad perfeccionada, caracterizada por que está provista de una acanaladura circular en torno a su parte roscada y de sección en forma de cuña, de tal manera que al introducirse en dicha acanaladura un anillo de forma apropiada a su sección, la parte roscada de la tuerca experimenta una presión hacia adentro que produce un agarrotamiento espigón roscado, siendo permitido por la existencia de dos ranuras que facilitan esta flexibilidad, consiguiéndose con todo ello que la tuerca elimine toda posibilidad de aflojamiento por vibraciones, holgura o causas análogas, y quedando mejorada la forma y utilización de la tuerca por si hecho de que la arandela es la sección cuadrangular gruesa, pues se le añade el material que se le quita a la tuerca, la cual queda así aligerada de peso, según ha sido detalladamente descrito en la memoria y representado en los dibujos.
