Abstract
Procedimiento de selección dinámica de frecuencias por una estación en un conjunto de servicio básico, BSS, en una red de área local inalámbrica, estando la estación configurada para comunicarse a través de un subcanal primario y un subcanal secundario, comprendiendo el procedimiento las etapas siguientes: recibir una trama que incluye un elemento de canal de silencio desde un punto de acceso, AP, en el que el elemento de canal de silencio indica si el subcanal secundario debe ser silenciado durante un intervalo de silencio, en el que el AP comprueba en el subcanal secundario una presencia de transmisiones de radar y la estación no envía ninguna trama al AP, y en el que el elemento de canal de silencio incluye un indicador de estado de AP que indica si una comunicación con el AP está permitida en el subcanal primario durante el intervalo de silencio; y silenciar el subcanal secundario durante el intervalo de silencio y comunicación con el AP por medio del subcanal primario durante el intervalo de silencio si el indicador de estado de AP indica que la comunicación con el AP está permitida en el subcanal primario durante el intervalo de silencio.
