Abstract
Cilindro hidráulico operador y multiplicador de presión para frenos, especialmente para el accionamiento de los elementos de frotamiento de los frenos, en instalaciones frenantes hidráulicas de los vehículos, comprendiendo un cuerpo con una cavidad cilíndrica longitudinal cerrada a una extremidad por una pared de fondo del cuerpo mismo y por la otra extremidad por un pistón principal deslizable en la misma cavidad, la cual es ligada en la proximidad de la pared de fondo antedicha, con una fuente de líquido apta para alimentar a dicha cavidad con líquido a presión, caracterizado por el hecho de que, en la parte de dicha cavidad próxima a dicha pared de fondo es montado deslizable un pistón auxiliar cuya cara vuelta hacia dicha pared de fondo está siempre expuesta a la acción de la presión hidráulica proviniente de la antedicha fuente y que divide la citada cavidad en a lo menos dos cámaras, una primera cámara, situada entre el pistón auxiliar y dicha pared de fondo y una segunda cámara situada entre el pistón auxiliar y el pistón principal, siendo guiada una parte del pistón auxiliar, por su lado vuelto hacia el pistón principal sobre una superficie de guia cilíndrica, que tiene el diámetro menor del diámetro de la citada parte de la cavidad interna del cuerpo en el que es soportado deslizable el pistón auxiliar por lo que la superficie de este último, sujeta a la acción de la presión hidráulica que hay en la segunda cámara es sustancialmente menor de aquella sujeta a la acción de la presión hidráulica que hay en la primera cámara, siendo asimismo previstos: un paso que une la primera y la segunda cámara, una válvula apta para controlar el flujo del líquido entre las dos cámaras susodichas, a través del citado paso y a lo menos un resorte de reacción interpuesto entre el pistón auxiliar y un órgano llevado por el cuerpo del cilindro apto para oponerse al avance del pistón auxiliar en dirección del pistón principal, dicha válvula asegurando la comunicación entre la primera y la segunda cámara cuando el pistón auxiliar se encuentra en su posición de fondo de cursa en proximidad de dicha pared de fondo interceptando tal comunicación, solo después de un desplazamiento del pistón auxiliar contra la acción del resorte de reacción e impidiendo el retorno del líquido por la segunda a la primera cámara cuando la presión en la segunda cámara supere aquella que hay en la primera cámara, estando dicho resorte de reacción montado en el cilindro con un premantenedor, para obtener que el desplazamiento del pistón auxiliar y la interceptación de la comunicación entre las dos cámaras ocurra solo después de que la presión hidráulica transmitida al cilindro de la susodicha fuente haya alcanzado un valor preestablecido.
