Abstract

Aro de pistón apropiado para ser usado en un miembro movible, tal como un pistón, y que actúa en una superficie cilíndrica, tal como una camisa de cilindro, siendo utilizable dicho aro de pistón en los motores de movimiento y funcionamiento alternativos y comprendiendo una primera superficie de soporte que reposa sobre un primer lado de una ranura prevista circunferencialmente de dicho miembro movible y un segunda superficie de soporte que reposa sobre un lado segundo y opuesto de dicha ranura, siendo dispuestos dichos primer y segundo lados transversalmente con relación a dicho miembro movible, caracterizado porque en las citadas superficies de soporte se ha previsto una pluralidad de medios de aligeramiento.
