Abstract
Un proceso en el que: el amoniaco (2) se sintetiza en una seccion de produccion de amoniaco (AM) de una planta integrada de amoniaco-urea al reaccionar hidrogeno y nitrogeno, siendo dicho hidrogeno producido mediante el reformado de una fuente de hidrocarburos (1); al menos parte de dicho amoniaco (2) se hace reaccionar en una seccion de produccion de urea (UR) de dicha planta para la sintesis de la urea (U), y una corriente (3) de gas de purga que contiene amoniaco se genera por dicha seccion de produccion de urea, estando el proceso caracterizado por que dicha corriente (3) de gas de purga se utiliza como fuente de amoniaco para la reduccion catalitica selectiva de oxidos de nitrogeno contenidos en los humos de combustion (4) producidos en la planta de amoniaco-urea.
