Abstract

Eje motor flexible canular
Antecedentes de la invención
La presente invención versa acerca de herramientas utilizadas para llevar a cabo cirugías, tales como procedimientos artroscópicos u ortopédicos, más en particular, un eje motor flexible canular que tiene una pluralidad 5 de secciones de interconexión, bloqueadas entre sí, preferentemente, por medio de colas de milano de múltiples ángulos, a lo largo del eje que permiten que un extremo distal sea flexible a la vez que soporte el par al ser girado en el sentido de las agujas del reloj o en contra del sentido de las agujas del reloj, evitando, de ese modo, que se separen y fallen las colas de milano. La solicitud de patente estadounidense US 2005/177168 da a conocer un instrumento quirúrgico de corte con un conjunto de acoplamiento interno que tiene las características de la parte 10 caracterizadora previa de la reivindicación 1.
Las limitaciones sobre la maniobrabilidad impuestas por una cirugía artroscópica significan que los ejes motores rectos convencionales no son muy adecuados para tales procedimientos. Por lo tanto, diversos procedimientos quirúrgicos artroscópicos utilizan ejes motores flexibles para taladrar en hueso, avellanar hueso, perforar agujeros en hueso, introducir anclajes o tornillos en el hueso, roscar anclajes o tornillos en hueso, atornillar anclajes o tornillos en 15 hueso y fijar suturas a hueso, tendones, etcétera. Uno que transmitirá par en una dirección en el sentido de las agujas del reloj y uno que transmitirá par en una dirección en contra del sentido de las agujas del reloj.
Por lo tanto, existe la necesidad de un eje motor flexible canular que transmita par en una dirección en el sentido de las agujas del reloj al igual que en una dirección en contra del sentido de las agujas del reloj sin desmontar el eje 25 motor.
Sumario de la invención
El objeto primario de la presente invención es proporcionar un eje motor flexible que transmita par en una dirección en el sentido de las agujas del reloj al igual que en una dirección en contra del sentido de las agujas del reloj.

Con referencia a las FIGURAS 1 y 2, se muestran una vista lateral en perspectiva de un eje motor canular flexible 1 de la presente invención y una vista lateral de secciones 6 de interconexión de la presente invención, respectivamente. Preferentemente, el eje motor 1 es tubular y comprende una superficie externa 2, una superficie 40 interna 3, un extremo proximal 4 y un extremo distal 5. A lo largo del eje motor 1 hay ubicada una pluralidad de secciones 6 de interconexión. Según se muestra en la FIG. 2, cada sección 6 de interconexión tiene un extremo proximal 4, un extremo distal 5 y un diseño 9 en cola de milano que comprende salientes 7 con una forma sustancialmente triangular y entrantes 8 con una forma sustancialmente triangular que se alternan en torno a la circunferencia del extremo proximal 4 y/o del extremo distal 5 de cada sección 6 de interconexión. Se crea la porción flexible del eje motor 1 cortando 10 las secciones 6 de interconexión en un eje tubular 10. Cada corte 11 se realiza en torno a toda la circunferencia del eje tubular 10 para crear un diseño 9 en cola de milano que comprende salientes alternos 7 con forma sustancialmente triangular y entrantes 8 con forma sustancialmente triangular. Los salientes 7 con forma sustancialmente triangular y correspondientes los entrantes 8 con forma sustancialmente triangular están cortados con ángulos opuestos para permitir una mayor flexibilidad y para bloquear adicionalmente las secciones 6 entre sí y 15 evitar que se separen las secciones de interconexión. Cada saliente 7 con forma triangular tiene superficies 21 inclinadas hacia dentro y superficies 22 inclinadas hacia fuera que se corresponden con superficies 21 inclinadas hacia dentro y con superficies 22 inclinadas hacia fuera de un entrante opuesto 8 con forma triangular. Las superficies 21 inclinadas hacia dentro o las superficies 22 inclinadas hacia fuera pueden estar ubicadas en porciones internas 23 de entrantes 8 con forma triangular, en porciones laterales 24 de salientes 7 con forma triangular o en 20 porciones externas 25 de salientes 7 con forma triangular.

Se puede utilizar el atornillador 13 para insertar un anclaje 14 de sutura en un hueso. El atornillador 13 comprende un extremo proximal 4 y un extremo distal 5. Hay ubicado un mango 15 en el extremo proximal 4 del atornillador 13. Un eje motor canular flexible 1 se extiende hacia fuera desde el extremo distal 5 del mango 15. Una porción hueca 16 del mango 15 acepta un extremo proximal 4 de una guía externa 17 (según se muestra en la FIG. 11) y actúa junto con un tope 18 ubicado en la guía 17 para controlar la 45 distancia que puede extenderse el eje motor 1 desde un extremo distal 5 de la guía 17. Hay ubicada una pluralidad de secciones 6 de interconexión a lo largo del eje motor 1 cerca del extremo distal 5 del atornillador 13. Preferentemente, el mango 15 del atornillador 13 es tubular para permitir que una sutura 20 fijada al anclaje 14 de sutura atraviese el mango 15. Aunque el eje motor canular flexible 1 mostrado aquí está fijado a un mango 15, 50 puede fijarse a cualquier herramienta giratoria, tal como un taladro.
Con referencia ahora a la FIG. 11, se muestra una vista lateral en planta de una guía externa 17 de la presente invención. Preferentemente, la guía externa 17 es un eje tubular que tiene un extremo proximal 4 y un extremo distal 5.
