Abstract
Sistema para el suministro de terapia de protones por medio de la exploración por haz en lápiz de un volumen predeterminado en un paciente que comprende: a) una fuente de protones para producir un haz de protones (B) ajustable con respecto a la intensidad del haz y/o de la energía del haz, en este caso mediante el uso de un atenuador ("degradador"); b) Un cierto número de unidades de deflexión del haz de protones y\o de unidades de enfoque; c) una boquilla del haz (N) que contiene una salida que permite al haz de protones (B) penetrar en el volumen predeterminable del paciente; d) un imán deflector del haz (A3) dispuesto aguas arriba de la boquilla (N); e) un par de imanes de barrido (WT, WU) con vistas a desviar el haz de protones (B) en las dos direcciones laterales (T, U); f) un detector sensible a la posición alineado con la boquilla con el fin de controlar la posición del haz de protones; y g) una lógica de control para controlar la posición y la energía del haz de protones, que comprende un juego de datos de orientación del haz; h) una lógica de corrección alineada con la lógica de control que permite corregir los errores de posición del haz en comparación a una posición prevista del haz con la posición efectiva del haz detectada en el detector sensible a la posición y produciendo los datos de corrección de posición del haz con arreglo a los resultados de la comparación, siendo entendido que los datos de corrección de posición del haz son introducidos en el conjunto de datos de conducción del haz después de la ejecución de un conjunto de datos que concierne a una prueba de irradiación independiente de la terapia y comprende un fichero de conducción específico del campo del paciente con el fin de identificar las correcciones específicas de la exploración , y siendo entendido que la lógica de corrección utiliza por otro lado un modelo de corrección dinámico genérico para corregir los errores de posición del haz que disminuyen con arreglo al tiempo después de un cambio de la energía de los protones.
