Abstract

Un método para fabricar un material termoplástico formador de hilo, dándole forma granular, según el cual este material en estado de fusión se hace pasar a presión por unos orificios de hilar, los filamentos así formados se llevan a través de baño lleno de un líquido refrigerante inerte, baño que enfría los filamentos a una temperatura justamente inferior al punto de solidificación de los mismos, después de lo cual los filamentos solidificados se transportan hasta un dispositivo cortador.
