Perfeccionamientos en los indicadores de velocidad vertical de aeronaves, caracterizados por estar combinados con un altímetro que posee un servo-motor acoplado a una escala de altitud para hacer mover dicha escala detrás de un índice fijo en respuesta a los cambios de altitud, medios acoplados a dicho servo-motor para general una señal eléctrica que posee una variación de amplitud proporcional al grado de cambio de altitud con respecto al tiempo, y que presenta una polaridad indicativa de la dirección del cambio de altitud; un indicador que responde a una señal aplicada para proporcionar una indicación numérica de la amplitud de la señal y de la polaridad correspondiente, y medios de aplicación de la citada señal eléctrica generada al mencionado indicador.
