Abstract
Un procedimiento para la purificación de hidrocarburos a temperatura elevada y bajo una presión de oxígeno impuesta con un catalizador de hidrodesulfuración, caracterizado porque el tratamiento de purificación se efectúa en presencia de un compuesto que contiene alúmina, sílice, sulfuro de molibdeno y sulfuro de niquel, que ha sido preprarado tratando un compuesto que contiene alúmina, sílice, óxido de molibdeno y óxido de níquel con una mezcla de sulfuración gaseosa que contiene hidrógeno y sulfuro de hidrógeno en una relación molar de, sustancialmente, desde 1:2 a 4:1 en ausencia de dichos hidrocarburos a una temperatura entre 204º y 427º C, y enfriando luego el compuesto sulfurado hasta menos de 204ºC bajo una presión positiva de sulfuro de hidrógeno.
