Abstract

Método para la simulación del flujo de una columna de humo a partir de una fuente de incendio real que incluye las etapas de: determinar un primer perfil de velocidad e índice de propagación de la columna de humo de la fuente de incendio real; y liberar gas flotante presurizado a partir de un aparato de liberación (340) para crear una columna de gas flotante liberado, donde dicha columna de gas flotante liberado tiene un segundo perfil de velocidad e índice de propagación, donde dicho aparato de liberación (340) tiene un banco de válvulas de control (380) configuradas para suministrar gas flotante presurizado a secciones diferentes (342) del aparato de liberación (340), y un banco de sensores de flujo (390) para medir el flujo del gas flotante presurizado a través de una válvula respectiva de dicho banco de válvulas de control (380) del aparato de liberación (340); donde la etapa de liberación se realiza de manera controlada mediante la supervisión de la pluralidad de sensores del banco de sensores de flujo (390) y mediante el control de la pluralidad de válvulas del banco de válvulas de control (380) para controlar la liberación de gas flotante de manera que el segundo perfil de velocidad e índice de propagación de la columna de gas flotante liberado es sustancialmente el mismo que el primer perfil de velocidad e índice de propagación de la columna de humo de la fuente de incendio real, por el cual el gas flotante sirve como sustituto para un flujo de productos de combustión de la fuente de incendio real
