Abstract

Una composición de revestimiento que comprende una mezcla acuosa que comprende partículas estables en medio ácido y uno o más fluoroácidos, en la que las partículas estables en medio ácido son partículas de sílice modificadas con aluminio con una relación de SiO2:Al 2O3 en peso de 80:1 a 240:1, y en la que la cantidad de las partículas estables en medio ácido en la composición de revestimiento es del 0,005 % al 5 % en peso en base al peso seco.

4. Ensayos de corrosión.
Para analizar la resistencia a la corrosión de los paneles, los paneles se rayaron y se pulveriza una solución de sal (NaCl al 5 %) sobre los paneles rayados, durante 500 h o 750 h (método ASTM B-117). La resistencia a la corrosión
5 de los paneles revestidos se evalúa midiendo la fuga desde el rayón. Los datos reportados en la Tabla 3 es la distancia en mm del rayón ensanchado después de la corrosión por la solución de pulverización sobre paneles de CRS. Como resultado, cuanto menor sea el número, más eficaz será la resistencia a la corrosión del revestimiento.
Los ejemplos con composiciones de revestimiento fuera del alcance de la reivindicación 1 no son de acuerdo con la 10 invención.
Ejemplo 1.
Se añaden ácido fluorotitánico (0,4 g, 60 %) y ácido fluorozircónico (0,4 g, 20 %) a agua destilada agitada (3989,2 g).
15 A medida que se agita esta mezcla, se añade 10 g de Ludox® TMA (33 % de sílice). El pH de esta mezcla se ajustó a aproximadamente 4 mediante la adición de carbonato de amonio y/o pequeñas cantidades de ácido fluorotitánico adicional. La mezcla se agitó durante aproximadamente dos horas.
