Abstract
Un procedimiento de obtener desmetilclorotetraciclina purificada, a partir de un caldo de fermentación que la contiene en forma de un precipitado de metal alcalinotérreo, caracterizado por ajustar el mosto a un pH ácido, para solubilizar la desmetilclorotetraciclina, filtrar el mosto, reducir el contenido en iones de metal alcalinotérreo libres del filtrado a un nivel predeterminado, añadir un compuesto de amonio cuaternario y un disolvente orgánico inmiscible con agua, ajustar la mezcla a un pH alcalino y extraer la desmetilclorotetraciclina de la fase de disolvente orgánico.
