Abstract
Método, que comprende: (a) realizar un procedimiento de entrada de red común usando una portadora (n.º 1) de radiofrecuencia (RF) primaria mediante una estación (104) móvil; (b) intercambiar información de capacidad multiportadora con una estación (102) base; y (c) habilitar la transmisión de multiportadora sobre canales de frecuencia múltiple si tanto la estación (104) móvil como la estación (102) base soportan capacidad multiportadora, caracterizado porque el método se realiza en una red (100) inalámbrica OFDM, comprendiendo el método además: (d) realizar determinación de distancia usando una portadora (n.º 2) secundaria antes de habilitar la transmisión de multiportadora; y (e) recibir una respuesta (130) de determinación de distancia para la portadora (n.º 2) secundaria, en el que la respuesta (130) de determinación de distancia para la portadora (n.º 2) secundaria se contesta a través de la portadora (n.º 1) primaria.
