Abstract

Un motor de combustión interna de dos tiempos y varios cilindros, en el cual el aire de barrido y de carga se comprime en un ventilador accionado por el gas de escape, así como en un conjunto de bombas de barrido de pistón que operan en paralelo con dicho ventilador caracterizado porque cámaras de aire de barrido asociadas con las lumbreras de entrada de los cilindros del motor, están intercomunicadas, porque el conjunto de la bomba de barrido comprende un número menor de unidades de cilindro que cilindros hay en el motor y porque los cilindros de la bomba de barrido están dispuestos para ser accionados desde el mecanismo de manivela para algunos de ellos solamente, con lo cual las cámaras de aire de barrido de éstos cilindros del motor están conectadas con el lado de presión del cilindro correspondiente de la bomba y porque las cámaras de aire de barrido de los otros cilindros del motor están conectadas con el conducto de presión del ventilador impulsado por el gas de escape.
