Abstract

Filtro espesador caracterizado porque se compone de un cuerpo (1) coronado por un domo (2) separado del cuerpo por una placa 4 con varios orificios, cada uno de los cuales lleva un elemento filtrante de poco diámetro (5) que introducido en el cuerpo citado el cual comprende además una admisión (8) para la entrada a presión del líquido que ha de filtrarse y un orificio de salida (15) de los lodos, regulado por una válvula (14) mientras el domo presenta un orificio lateral para la salida a presión del caldo clarificado, de modo que, en funcionamiento, se almacene aire comprimido en la parte superior (17) del domo por encima del nivel del jugo clarificado.
