Abstract

Dispositivo para la preparación de mezcla bituminosa en continuo que comprende un tambor (12) montado en forma rotativa alrededor de su eje longitudinal, un quemador (16) y un mezclador (18), colocado debajo del tambor (12) de modo que los flujos de material que circulan respectivamente en el tambor (12) y en el mezclador (18) se encuentran invertidos, comprendiendo el mezclador (18) unos medios de mezcla rotativos (182, 183) que giran independientemente del tambor (12), caracterizado porque el dispositivo comprende una cubierta térmica (14) colocada por un lado, en parte alrededor del tambor (12) en un tramo de su longitud, aproximadamente en el lugar donde se encuentra la llama producida por el quemador (16) y, por otro lado, en parte entre el tambor (12) y el mezclador (18) de modo que garantice una unión entre el tambor (12) y el mezclador (18), comunicado el tambor (12) con el mezclador (18) a través de la cubierta térmica (14).

minerales finamente trituradas, introducidos por un segundo conducto 144. El filler de aportación no proviene del filtrado sino de un silo de almacenamiento previsto a tal efecto.
Los áridos A caídos en el mezclador 18 se mezclan en primer lugar con betún D líquido calentado a 160ºC, introducido por el conducto 180. El betún D que posee un punto de ignición a 200ºC aproximadamente se somete a un fenómeno de cracking cuando se pone en contacto con los áridos calientes. Se libera entonces vapor de agua e hidrocarburos. El vapor de agua proveniente de los áridos A y de los vapores de hidrocarburo producidos por el betún D suben hacia el quemador 16 donde son quemados por la llama F del quemador 16. Dicha subida se obtiene con un ventilador que comprende el filtro que crea una ligera depresión en el tambor 12. De este modo, no se libera ningún vertido gaseoso tóxico a la atmósfera.
A continuación, la pasta formada con betún D y áridos A puede ser ventajosamente mezclada, si se desea, con la mezcla bituminosa reciclada B.
A continuación, el filler f proveniente del filtrado se introduce con un compresor a través de un conducto 142 hasta el mezclador 18, donde se mezcla a su vez con la pasta de la mezcla bituminosa en formación. Dicho filler f, al ser vaporizado en la pasta en formación no forma bolas finas o inclusiones en la pasta. Repartido de modo homogéneo, el filler f permite acrecentar la unión mecánica de los áridos A con el betún
D.
Finalmente, otros productos o aditivos C tales como el filler de aportación pueden ser introducidos en el mezclador 18 mediante el conducto 144. Dichos aditivos C y principalmente el filler de aportación no se introducen hasta el final para evitar la formación de bolas finas en la pasta de mezcla bituminosa.
Después de los diferentes aportes en el mezclador 18, la mezcla de la pasta bituminosa continúa hasta la salida del mezclador 18.
