The present invention relates to a procedure for the management of waste collection containers.

It is already known, by EP 0 412 020, a procedure for the management of waste collection containers comprising, in particular, a stage of data inscription in storage means carried by a waste collection container and A stage of reading this data.

It is also known from GB-A-2 416 612 a procedure for the management of waste collection containers according to the preamble of claim 1.

A waste collection container then comprises a microprocessor that includes a non-volatile memory and an antenna that allows the introduction of data into the microprocessor and the reading of this data. A data reading device, placed in a collection or portable dump truck, is used to read or write data to the microprocessor.

The data entered in the microprocessor are data related to the container, for example, its distribution date or the latest collection dates.
