Las caras laterales del borde exterior de la encimera y de los huecos están cerradas de manera que la cámara hueca de la encimera sólo presenta dos aberturas, una en su lado posterior en forma de comunicación abierta hacia abajo para conexión con la conducción de aire ascendente y una compuerta con ranuras adaptada verticalmente en el orificio delantero del cuerpo encimero y que sirve para la salida del aire caliente que ha sido impulsado por un ventilador.
