The present invention relates to the field of furniture and more particularly of office, work space or table type furniture. By table it is convenient to understand any furniture or part of furniture that comprises a horizontal board or a work plane.

To facilitate, for example, its mobility or its portability, some tables, usually also provided with a board and at least two legs, are designed in such a way that the latter are removable.

These legs are then either in a functional or working configuration in which they are fixed to the board and extend orthogonally with respect to it, or in a compact configuration in which they are held parallel against the board thanks to maintenance means .

JP 10-165229 describes for example a folding table whose legs are partially removable. In the disassembled state, they can be fixed under the board with the help of elastic bands that ensure a tightness against the board. The disassembled configuration of the table is thus compact.

The system described, however, suffers from a number of limitations, which are found in most folding models. In the first place, it refers in general to simplified and light tables, whose legs have a light structure and low weight. The character of detachability, as it is done, does not seem in practice transferable to work planes, desks or large tables that have an important weight and whose legs must have a support structure accordingly, which translates into general by a sufficient weight to ensure the stability of the work surface. Simple elastic bands cannot, in effect, adapt in any way to the firm and reliable maintenance of such legs if they could be disassembled and positioned against the board.

US No. 2,673,772 describes another example of furniture.

The objective of the present invention is, first of all, to remedy the aforementioned insufficiencies and to provide furniture that can be used as a work plane that presents a degree of comfort comparable to that offered by non-removable tables, and which can pass from Functional work configuration to a compact configuration suitable for transport and / or storage.

A second objective assigned to the invention is to reuse the technical means that allow the configuration change for other functional purposes.

Finally, the realization of furniture of this type must respond to imperatives of simplicity, which combine simple and reliable means and constituent elements.

According to the invention defined in the claims, the furniture, whose constituent elements comprise a board, at least two legs, means for fixing the legs to the board, said elements being either in a working configuration in which the legs are orthogonally fixed to the board, or in a compact configuration in which some solidarity hooks keep said legs parallel to the board, it is mainly characterized by:

- each leg is held against the board by at least two solidarity hooks in a compact configuration;

- the hooks are arranged with respect to each other and are configured to together constitute at least one cable support in the work configuration.

A saving is thus made in the number of pieces necessary for the performance of the functions performed, thus optimizing the functions of some parts, to the extent that the elements necessary for the transformation into compact furniture configuration are still available in the configuration of work. Under these conditions, the number of unused parts after the assembly of the furniture of the invention, parts used for transport and in principle simply intended for recycling is also reduced. The invention therefore has favorable environmental incidents.

More precisely, each solidarity hitch comprises at least one rigid profile whose section conforms to the outer contour of the shaft of a leg, as well as an area for fixing to the board.

The conformation of the profile to the shaft of the pedestal, combined with its rigidity, makes it appropriate for its second function, that is, the cable support. Said profile in effect delimits with the underside of the board a tunnel portion suitable for guiding cables.

Preferably, each solidarity hitch comprises two identical profiles joined by a medium fixing zone. This configuration actually reflects the existence, in most of the hypotheses, of two legs that support the board, which are then fixed to the board in a head-to-head position.

According to one possibility, each profile is U. Transversally, the number of pedestal shafts has a rectangular section that adapts to such a profile. This form allows, however, more generally the fixing of spindles to sections comprising two large parallel faces, and can be easily adapted to other forms of spindle sections.

According to a possible configuration, the fixing area that separates the two rigid profiles mentioned above may comprise stiffening reinforcements. This possibility is used in particular when solidarity hooks are made of rigid synthetic material.

In order to ensure correct fixing of the legs in parallel contact with the board, that is to say in a compact configuration, it is preferably envisaged to use three aligned engagement hooks. In the work configuration, this solution is also useful since the cables are then potentially supported by three aligned tunnel portions, distributed along the length of the desk, and usable in part or in full depending on the cable path .

On the other hand a solidarity hook is described that includes

- at least one rigid profile open on one side and that can be closed by a flat-looking surface; Y

- a fixing area to said surface.

The invention also relates to furniture that responds to the characteristics previously developed, and more precisely to a desk or workspace that includes these characteristics.

Figure 1 represents a table comprising a board (1) and two legs (2), of which only one of them is represented. The table is represented in a working configuration in which the legs (2) extend orthogonally under the board (1) so as to support the latter.

Fixing means, known as such, are provided to fix the legs (2) under the board (1) and more precisely on the lower face (1a) of the board (1).

Each leg (2) comprises an upper fixing part (3) as well as a lower part (4). The upper part (3) allows to fix the upper end of the leg (2) on the face (1a) in a stable and firm manner and the lower part (4), which rests on the floor, ensures the stability of the table in its functional work configuration.

The table also comprises a sleeper (5) that joins the legs (2) together. The cross member (5) extends under the board (1) near the bottom face (1a).

It also includes several hooks (6) that extend under the board (1) mounted on either side of the crossbar (5). The hooks (6) are mounted, for example, between the crossbar (5) and the lower face (1a).

They allow, in the configuration shown in figure 1, to make a support for a cable assembly (7) and / or for example for a power cable (8), and thus position and guide the cable assembly (7) and the cord (8) near the bottom face (1a) on the one hand, and, where appropriate, separate cables or cords that fulfill different energy transport and / or information functionalities.

Figure 2 represents an embodiment of a hitch (6) comprising in this case two rigid U-shaped profiles (6a). The latter delimit tunnel portions (6c) that partly surrounds the legs (2) of so that they are fixed against the face (1a) of the board (1) when the pedestals (2) are fixed on said lower face (1a) in the compact configuration.

The portions (6c) therefore have two functions depending on whether the table is in a compact or functional configuration.

They are closed on the underside (1a) of the board (1) as shown in figure 1.

Each hook (6) comprises, on the other hand, a central fixing area (6b) provided with upright walls (6d) that delimit a housing (6e) that opens in a direction opposite to the profiles (6c). The housing (6e) is intended, in particular, to position the fixing hitch (6) on the crossbar (5) (see Figure 1) and comprises the area for fixing to the board (1). In this configuration, the hitch (6) is thus pinched between the board (1) and the crossbar (5). Rigid reinforcements (6f) are also provided and join the walls (6d) to the profiles (6c).

Depending on the case, you can consider changing the shape of the profiles to fit different leg shapes.

Figure 3 represents a table in a compact transport and / or storage configuration. In this configuration, the constituent elements of the table are also associated with protection corners (9) that have holes (9a, 9b) to be introduced respectively on each of the corners of the board (1) as well as on the ends of a sleeper (5), which is thus held against the face (1a).

Figure 3 shows the legs (2) arranged foot to head, parallel to the board (1) and fixed against the bottom face (1a) of the board by means of the solidarity hooks (6). The latter are screwed, for example, onto the underside (1a) of the board (1). This results in a firm and reliable maintenance of the legs (2) against the board (1), in particular during transport.
