Abstract
Process for obtaining new derivatives of fentiazine and acid addition salts thereof, characterized in that said derivatives are of the general formula I ** (See formula) ** wherein R1 represents an alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms inclusive, R2 represents a dialkylaminoethyl group, of which each alkyl part contains from 1 to 4 carbon atoms inclusive; a 1-alkyl-4-piperidyl group, of which the alkyl part contains from 1 to 4 carbon atoms inclusive, or the 1-piperidinoethyl group, and n represents 1 or 2 and by which a carboxylic acid halide is reacted general formula II ** (See formula) ** wherein R1 has the above meaning, and Hal represents a chlorine, bromine or iodine atom with an alcohol of the general formula III HO-(CH2 -CH2 -O)n-R2 III wherein R2 and n have the above meanings, and when it is desired to obtain an acid addition salt, salification with an acid is performed.
