Hairdressing apparatus with adjustable brushes

The present invention relates to a hairdressing apparatus that allows hair shaping. The invention relates in a more particular way to a hairdressing apparatus for hair straightening that includes two jaws mounted on a hinge, each jaw including a hot plate facing each other intended to configure a treatment area when the two Jaws are in closed position.

With the aim of improving the smoothing result, it appears in the field of straighteners integrating accessories in the vicinity of the hot plates intended to contact a strand of hair. As, for example, in document CH702861 which discloses a straightener which includes on each side of the upper straightening plate a row of brushes, arranged upstream and downstream of the straightening. This allows extending the strand of hair caught between the two plates for a straightening result other than a conventional straightening performed without the intervention of such an accessory.

Another document EP2245953 is known which discloses a straightener that includes a traction pin in the middle of the straightening plate intended to keep the end of a tuft of hair between the jaws, the traction pin being adjustable in height and being able to fully enter the device housing. However, this apparatus causes a consequent tension of the hair, between the apparatus and the root of the hair, which is very unpleasant to be felt by the user. Similar teaching is disclosed in JP2004255207.

The objective of the present invention is to at least partially remedy these drawbacks and propose an apparatus for shaping the hair with an improved hair straightening function at low temperature, without the sensation of hair tension.

Another objective is to provide a lustrous effect of hair to improve the perceived quality of straightening.

Another objective of the invention is to propose an equivalent smoothing in both directions.

Another objective is to propose two types of smoothing with a single device.

These objectives are achieved with a portable device for shaping hair as disclosed in claim 1.

"Silk strands" means strands of natural or synthetic hair.
