Abstract

1. Screw-type terminal, constructed as frame terminal, insertable into a housing for an electric installation device, for the connection of one or several connecting wires and/or bars, comprising a box frame (50) containing a thread (54) working in conjunction with a clamping screw (56) and a clamping frame (40; 70), which penetrates through the box frame (50) with a lower sidewall (42; 80) and the other upper sidewall (58) is penetrated by the clamping screw (56) which can be screwed into the box frame (50), in which arrangement the head (62) thereof is located outside the clamping frame (40; 70), in such a manner that the box frame (50) is pulled against the outer surface of the clamping frame sidewall (42; 80) penetrating through the box frame (50), characterized in that the terminal frame (40; 70) is bent in the form of a loop and forms a rectangular closed ring, in which arrangement the end completing the closure of the ring is mechanically coupled to one of the other sidewalls of the terminal frame (40; 70) at one sidewall (42; 72) of the terminal frame (40; 70) for forming the rectangular closed ring.
