Abstract

Estructura de revestimiento de las superficies y cantos visibles de la subestructura de muebles, en particular de las patas y/o de las partes de bastidor y/o del cuerpo de muebles para sentarse o para echarse, mesas, armarios, aparadores, estanterías, espejos y similares, caracterizada por una pluralidad de barras semejantes a madera, estructuradas a manera de fibras, carentes de ramas, muy flexibles, más o menos largas y dotadas de sección transversal constante en toda su longitud, las cuales se han obtenido de la médula o corazón de una planta palmacea tropical y están dispuestas en las superficies y cantos visibles de la subestructura, quedando colocadas una al lado de otra o discurriendo en una capa casi siempre con paralelismo axial entre si, tocándose prácticamente sin huecos entonces unas a otras y, por tanto, formando en común un revestimiento ópticamente cerrado, y las cuales van fijadas en dichas superficies y cantos visibles con ayuda de medios de fijación.
