Abstract

Cuchara de fundición para alimentar metal fundido a un molde de colada, vertiéndose el metal de la cuchara al molde a una temperatura sustancialmente igual a la temperatura de sangrado, del tipo de cuchara que comprenden una carcasa en forma de cangilón metálica exterior que tiene una base y paredes laterales arqueadas, y un revestimiento refractario permanente situado en el interior de la carcasa, caracterizada porque comprende un revestimiento interior desechable protector, para proteger al revestimiento refractario permanente, formado por una ó más placas de suelo y una o más placas laterales, disponiéndose las placas laterales esencialmente en sentido vertical para formar, en sección horizontal, una formación poligonal, siendo las placas más anchas en la parte superior que en la base, cuyas placas están formadas por una composición refractaria, con un aislamiento térmico relativamente elevado y una conductividad térmica relativamente baja.
